HOUSTON, TX – October 27, 2016 – MidiCi, a California-based Neapolitan pizza company, will introduce its first Houston location and second in Texas at Kirby Grove in the Upper Kirby District. Slated for opening early in the new year, MidiCi will occupy 3,868 square-feet of prime real estate featuring a patio at the corner of Richmond Avenue and Wakeforest Avenue. In addition, MidiCi’s menu will feature vegan-friendly selections, authentic Italian gelato, and happy hour.
“At MidiCi we are looking to provide our guest friends with an experience as opposed to a meal destination. The MidiCi concept was created with people and community in mind. Its classy décor and affordable gourmet food will make it your favorite spot for coffee, lunch, dinner and drinks. Houston needed something new and exciting and Kirby Grove along with MidiCi will deliver,” said Keon Suber, Managing Partner of MidiCi.
According to Suzanne Weatherall, Vice President, Asset Management with Midway, “We are delighted to welcome MidiCi, The Neapolitan Pizza Company, to Kirby Grove and the Upper Kirby community. Their delicious food and special emphasis on local, fresh ingredients in a fun, attractive and friendly environment, was the perfect fit for Midway's mixed-use project built around a beautiful and lively park in the middle of the city."
Kirby Grove is an exciting, community-focused, mixed-use environment within Houston’s Upper Kirby District. Midway’s thoughtful integration of One Grove Street’s Class-A office space and dining amenities, and Avenue Grove’s high-end lofts will create a transformative mixed-use environment. The combination of uses and world-class design will transform Kirby Grove into a regional destination at the center of the Upper Kirby District. Within Kirby Grove, The Upper Kirby Redevelopment Authority is redeveloping Levy Park into a world-class urban public space that will serve as a community focal point and a venue to host events and district-centered programming.
